- 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (3 cups)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage leaves
- 2 packages (1.9 oz each) frozen mini filo shells, 30 shells thawed
- 1/2 cup finely grated Asiago cheese (2 oz)
- Fresh sage leaves, if desired
- Additional ground pepper, if desired
