- 2 lb homemade or purchased cornbread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (11 cups)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 lb bulk pork sausage
- 1 cup coarsely chopped onion
- 1 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
- 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
- 1 to 2 serrano chiles, seeded, finely chopped (1 to 2 tablespoons)
- 1 bunch collard greens, ribs removed, coarsely chopped (6 cups)
- 2 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
