- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3 stalks celery, chopped (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 10 small croissants, cut into 1-inch pieces (7 cups)
- 8 oz ciabatta or French bread, cut into 1-inch pieces (7 cups)
- 2 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
