- 1 pound 80% lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) Condensed French Onion Soup
- 1 teaspoon neutral flavored oil
- 1 cup yellow or white onion, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 6 slices Swiss or Gruyère cheese
- 1 package (13.5 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Farmhouse® Brioche Hamburger Buns (6 buns) or burger bun of your choice
