- 3 tablespoons cold butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (6 oz)
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped drained roasted red bell peppers (from a jar)
