
Potstickers Chinese Dumplings
These classic Chinese potstickers are made with ground beef and shrimp instead of pork. This recipe makes a large batch of filling, enough for several packages of dumpling wrappers. You can freeze any extra potstickers to enjoy another time.

- 4 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 3 leaves napa cabbage, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Asian (toasted) sesame oil
- salt and white pepper to taste
- 1 pinch white sugar
- 1 (10 ounce) package round gyoza/potsticker wrappers
- vegetable oil
- ¼ cup water
