- 1 cup diced shallots
- 1/2 cup diced celery

- 1 package (5.2 oz) peeled and roasted chestnuts, coarsely chopped (1 cup)

- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
