Everything Bagel Seasoned Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS :

    • 680g Brussel sprouts (24oz)
    • 2 tablespoon butter, melted
    • 30g grated parmesan cheese (¼ cup)
    • 30 g sliced crushed almonds (¼ cup) optional
    • 2 tablespoon everything but the bagel seasoning (it can be replaced with sea salt to taste, 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon regular sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon onion powder)

Recipe Description

  1. If using frozen Brussel sprouts, place the frozen unopen bag in the microwave, microwave on high for 3 to 4 minutes, let it stand for a minute after cooking before removing from the microwave, open the bag, get rid of the water, leave aside.
  2. If using fresh Brussel sprouts, place the Brussel sprouts in sauce pot with 2 cups of water, cover and cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, remove water, leave aside. Slice Brussels sprouts in half.
  3. Add Brussel sprouts, melted butter and remaining ingredients to a bowl. 
  4. Stir to combine and ensure sprouts are coated evenly. 
  5. Transfer the Brussels sprouts to the air fryer, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden for both sides.
  6. Serve hot.
